The optimal operating air pressure for the tool is 5.5 bar. We recommend using a pressure regulator and an automatic oil injection/filtration system. These devices should be installed within 3 meters to ensure the service life of the tool and reduce maintenance needs.
To ensure the optimal riveting effect of nuts, stroke adjustment is essential. Therefore, we recommend conducting tests using test pieces with the same thickness and hole diameter as the workpiece. If the deformation is insufficient, the nut will rotate in the workpiece. If the deformation is excessive, it may cause thread distortion or breakage of the drive screw.
The minimum effective working pressure of the air supply hose should be 150% of the maximum pressure generated during system operation, or a maximum pressure of 10 bar. The air hose should be oil-resistant and wear-resistant; reinforcement should be applied to parts of the hose that may be damaged during operation. The minimum diameter of the air supply hose is 6.4 mm or 1/4 inch.
When installing lock bolt products:
-
Ensure the correct configuration of the gun head assembly.
-
Connect the air source.
-
Push the ring-groove rivet completely into the workpiece hole.
-
Mount the collar onto the ring-groove rivet.
-
Keep the rivet head seated in the workpiece, and push the tool onto the protruding rivet shank.
-
Fully press the trigger. One cycle will secure the collar onto the rivet’s grooves, and the rivet will break at the fracture groove.
-
Release the trigger. The tool will automatically retract from the collar and eject the rivet shank, completing a work cycle.
When installing fastener products:
-
Ensure the correct configuration of the gun head assembly.
-
Connect the air source.
-
Insert the fastener into the gun head.
-
Position the tool with the fastener into the workpiece so that the fastener aligns perfectly with the workpiece hole.
-
Fully pull the trigger. The tool will cycle to drive the fastener.
-
Release the trigger. The tool completes one cycle.
