Step one: Technical document communication. Step three: Prototype sampling. Mould opening and sampling start after drawing approval. Samples are used for lab test and real‑product assembly verification. Buyers shall carry out three key inspections after receiving samples: full dimension measurement, hardness test and simulated working‑condition reliability test including pull‑out, torque, vibration and salt‑spray. Visual appearance check alone is not sufficient for qualification.
Step four: Pilot batch production. Do not place full‑volume orders right after sample approval. Pilot batch is strongly recommended. Mould and heat‑treatment furnace behave differently under mass‑production mode compared with single‑piece sampling. Pilot‑batch inspection helps detect mass‑production defects and avoid huge financial risk.
Step five: Mass production & pre‑shipment inspection. Batch traceability shall be kept during mass production, including material certificate, heat‑treatment report and salt‑spray test record. Pre‑shipment inspection covers dimension sampling and surface appearance. Moisture‑proof packing is essential for sea freight to prevent rust during long‑distance ocean transportation.
Common overseas‑order warnings: Photos without formal drawings cause misunderstanding; mass‑production without reliability test leads to batch‑quality failure; ignorance of compliance standards causes customs clearance failure; neglecting mould‑sampling lead‑time results in project delay.
